About
Katie grew up as an only child in Petoskey, MI (tip of the mitten). There she was influenced by her nature-loving Mom, music-loving Dad, and extensively artistic friends & relatives. Longing for a taste of the “big city”, she moved away to Grand Rapids, MI to pursue an art degree – which evolved into photography. Katie enjoyed living in the historic Heritage Hill neighborhood: but took a chance of a lifetime, and followed her now-husband out to Seattle. She loved her time spent in Washington, but is looking forward to moving back to her home state in 2012. Next adventure: Getting to know Detroit!
