Pensive!
Anyone who has been following my work for awhile is well-aware of my love for San Diego pop-punk-rockers Pensive! Not only do they put on a great show, but they’re so fun to hang out with. They used to visit me every time they came to Grand Rapids, MI. In fact, their former drummer even stole my roommate Laura away, and they’re still living together in NJ. I couldn’t make this stuff up! Anyhow, it was a joy to see them again – their first time playing in Seattle in four years!
I really appreciated that they played two brand new songs. They keep getting more and more creative! Now someone sign them to a label, please.
Julio, Pat, and Hope: Thanks for spending time with me on your day off. I hope we meet again soon!

Being a musician myself I can appreciate this stellar series of candid shots. I especially like the first scene of that infamous “wink” at your camera and the flying hair in the 5th shot. Nice work!
