I got to be second-shooter for the talented wedding photographer Christopher Gendron.  The day started with getting ready, formals at a park & ceremony in Bellevue; followed by a whirlwind carousel photo-op at the Seattle waterfront; and ended with the reception on an Argosy cruise!  It was a fun-filled day and a wonderful kick-off to my wedding season.

As usual, I can’t help but share some highlights:

On a personal note… my parents are driving across the country to see me!  You can expect “tourist” photos from our weekend together in Seattle :)

Pilchuck to reach “Lake 22″.  The hike was spectacular – especially on the day we went, because of all the fog, and the rich autumn colors.  I was truly in awe.

My childhood best friend and next-door neighbor, Kate, got married over the weekend.  And I got to be her wedding photographer!  The ceremony took place at The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor, and the reception was across the street at The Lake Forest Golf Club.  The rainy weather held off just long enough for great photos, but unfortunately, U of M was beaten by State.  But that didn’t stop it from being a truly wonderful occasion with close friends and family!
