Lake 22

This past Sunday Joel, Nick, Larissa, Matt and I took a hike up the north face of Mt. Pilchuck to reach “Lake 22″.  The hike was spectacular – especially on the day we went, because of all the fog, and the rich autumn colors.  I was truly in awe.

Memorial Day Weekend: Petoskey, MI

I went up north to see the folks over the holiday weekend (Dad’s birthday!).

One of the fun things we did together was take a walk along where they have paved a path from Magnus park over towards Bay Harbor:  which has always been one of the most picturesque areas of the bay (beautiful, natural cliffs).

This particular area was also where trains used to run “back in the day”.  Here’s one of the original markers:

… and just for my own amusement, here’s my baby cons back home :)
